Production Associate - Night Shift (ND)

This position inspects finished goods as they come off the manufacturing line, prepares shipping labels, and packs product.  Responsibilities include operating fabrication equipment, monitoring product quality to ensure customer specifications are met and preparing equipment/materials for production runs.  Once trained, provide mentoring and training to new associates.  Basic math and computer skills required.

Hours for this position are 6:30 p.m.- 6:45 a.m.  The normal work schedule includes working 36 hours one week (Sun/Wed/Thu) and 48 hours the next (Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat).  All hours over 40 hours per work week are compensated at an overtime rate.  With this schedule you only work 7 out of 14 days and every other weekend is a three-day weekend off!

The Automation/Controls Technician is responsible for building, programming and maintaining automated machines and equipment using his/her technical skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build custom equipment designed for and by Tecton for production use
  • Build, program and maintain automated machines utilizing equipment such as programmable controllers, servos, VFD's
  • Perform machine wiring
  • Diagnose, replace, and repair faulty mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components of machines and equipment throughout the plant.

Production Associate - Day Shift (VA)

Production Associates fill one of two roles.  Associates are selected for one of these positions based on interest, skills, and previous experience.

1.  Pultrusion Operators - Operators are responsible for running a production line.  They ensure a continuous supply of raw materials, machine set up and operation, and troubleshooting.  This position requires associates to manage and prioritize multiple tasks that ensure continuous operation of the production line.  Candidates must have a good memory and problem solving skills.  Once trained, this position provides training and mentoring to new associates.  Basic math and computer skills required.

Materials & Logistics Intern (ND)

EHS Engineerng Intern (ND)

We are seeking an intern to start this spring and continue working during the school year. Hours are very flexible around school schedule. We would expect 12 - 20 hr/wk during the school year and 40 hr/wk during the summer.

Responsibilities include:

The Quality Analyst is responsible for supporting production through inspection and testing of product to ensure specifications are being met, analyzes test data, communicates quality issues to appropriate supervisor(s), helps drive problem resolution and contains product which does not meet specification. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Support production through inspection and testing of product
  • Analyze test results and determines acceptability of product
  • Communicate quality issues to appropriate supervisor(s) and help drive problem resolution
  • Contain product which does not meet specification
  • Look for opportunities to improve the inspection and test processes
  • Act as the customer advocate to ensure product meets customer requirements
  • Report product non-conformance, including disposition, correction and resolution
  • Effectively execute decisions on product acceptability. 
  • Effectively communicate decisions on product acceptability to all appropriate members of team leadership
  • Provide input to improve skill level testing
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Trainer of Quality-owned processes and procedures

Responsibilities include:

*Provide support and participation in R&D projects such as trial runs and new material testing

The Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support and for representing the company professionally and enthusiastically to all internal and external customers.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducts general Front Office activities such as timely routing of phone calls, delivery of mail/messages, and maintaining the appearance of the lobby and front office area
