Maintenance Technician - Day Shift

Maintenance Tech - Days **$2,500 Sign on Bonus**

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment and facility, troubleshooting, repairing, and ordering parts. This position is responsible for the quality of all work performed.

  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized work area
  • Providing good quality service including, but not limited to:
    • Timely support
    • Root cause determination
    • Good follow up on issues
  • Appropriately planning work, looking at all priorities including, but not limited to:
    • Coordinating with production & leadership (ie. looking ahead at schedule)
    • Focusing on equipment follow-up issues, PM's and work orders
    • Making sure the following shifts are set up to be successfully
    • Ordering parts and repairs as needed
  • Supporting operations by properly maintaining equipment
    • Providing crisis support
    • Performing line start-up checks
  • Assisting production on set up and adjustments as needed
  • Monitoring and working towards reducing scrap, non-conformance, and downtime due to equipment issues
  • Monitoring and maintaining facility equipment
  • Implementing improvements to equipment, processes, methods, etc.

Schedule: 6:30 am -6:45 pm 

Work 7 out of 14 days! Get every other weekend off!

Production

Manufacturing Associate- Day Shift

A Manufacturing Associate inspects finished goods as they come off the manufacturing line, prepares shipping labels, and packs product. 

Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Associates operate fabrication equipment, monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications are met and preparing equipment/materials for production runs.  Once trained, provide mentoring and training to new associates.  

Schedule:

Days: 6:30 a.m.- 6:45 p.m  

Pay:

Earn an effective hourly wage  $21.12/hr!

Base: $19.25/hr

Weekend Premium: $2.00/hr

Plus Pay for Experience

The normal work schedule includes working 36 hours one week (Sun/Wed/Thu) and 48 hours the next (Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat).  All hours over 40 hours per workweek are compensated at an overtime rate.  With this schedule, you only work 7 out of 14 days and every other weekend is a three-day weekend off!

Production Associate - Night Shift (VA)

Production Associates fill one of two roles.  Associates are selected for one of these positions based on interest, skills, and previous experience.

1.  Pultrusion Operators - Operators are responsible for running a production line.  They ensure a continuous supply of raw materials, machine set up and operation, and troubleshooting.  This position requires associates to manage and prioritize multiple tasks that ensure continuous operation of the production line.  Candidates must have a good memory and problem solving skills.  Once trained, this position provides training and mentoring to new associates.  Basic math and computer skills required.

The Maintenance Engineering Manager leads all aspects of the functional departments, including facility custodial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively develop and lead the team to align with Tecton's mission and values, as measured by survey scores, turnover, retention, and other key culture metrics of the position

  • Serve as project manager for equipment and facility projects
  • Handle budgetary responsibilities for the given functional areas

  • Ensure facility infrastructure capability and capacity (i.e. water, air, electrical, etc.) meets or exceeds production demand

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct recruiting activities to meet the hiring and talent needs, including effective advertising, coordination of community job fairs and creating innovative ways to market Tecton career opportunities.

The Receptionist is responsible for providing front office support and for representing the company professionally and enthusiastically to all internal and external customers. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct general Front Office activities such as timely routing of phone calls, delivery of mail/messages, and maintaining the appearance of the lobby and front office area

Job Purpose:

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of extrusion including, but not limited to, handling raw materials, producing parts on the production line, and prepping finished goods for shipment.

 Essential Functions:

  • Perform quality checks on extrusions being produced
  • Perform proper set-up and shut-down procedures
  • Setup, teardown, cleanup and safe handling of extrusion tooling
  • Identify, stage and prep raw materials for extrusion orders
  • Troubleshoot and correct extrusion related defects
  • Monitor the process through documentation of processing variables
  • Utilize forklift as needed to move raw materials and/or finished goods within the plant
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform other duties as identified by schedule load

 

Schedule: 5:00pm-3:30am
