This position inspects finished goods as they come off the manufacturing line, prepares shipping labels, and packs product.  Responsibilities include operating fabrication equipment, monitoring product quality to ensure customer specifications are met and preparing equipment/materials for production runs.  Once trained, provide mentoring and training to new associates.  Basic math and computer skills required.

Hours for this position are 6:30 a.m.- 6:45 p.m.  The normal work schedule includes working 36 hours one week (Sun/Wed/Thu) and 48 hours the next (Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat).  All hours over 40 hours per work week are compensated at an overtime rate.  With this schedule you only work 7 out of 14 days and every other weekend is a three-day weekend off!

Tool & Die Maker (ND)

 

This position is responsible for safely setting up and operating equipment in the Tool & Die shop while maintaining a focus on quality workmanship. Our shop is a safe, clean and cutting-edge environment.

Previous experience with CNC grinders and EDM’s preferred, ability to read engineering prints, and capability to compute/convert die dimensions are requirements.  Completion of a related technical degree is strongly preferred.

Quality Coordinator (VA)

Position Summary:        

This position is responsible for providing quality related training, maintaining quality tools, sustaining quality and process documentation, performing incoming raw material testing/data validation, and performing material reject testing.  This position will analyze pultrusion performance data daily to determine activities for improving standard operating procedures and work instructions affecting product quality.  This position also serves as the primary quality representative regarding customer return claims, facilitating all elements of the return process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training to Quality Analysts and cross trained production associates to perform and document  required tests as outlined in Master Quality Conformance Plan (MQCP).
  • Monitor and audit quality records and test data for accuracy, and analyze trends that can lead to improvement opportunities. 
  • Lead and support PPT/IPT projects, as well as other projects, to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and improve test equipment, measurement devices, and quality software applications.
  • Create, audit, and maintain quality and process documentation (e.g. quality books, SOP’s).  Work with production to ensure quality standards are defined, documented, and understood by team members.
  • Drive process improvements by evaluating operating metrics, performing cause and effect analysis, and determining courses of action.
  • Serve as main contact for customer communication on external quality issues and return claims.  Facilitate all elements of the customer returns process to include documentation of the claim, material evaluation and disposition, internal logistics and communication, etc.
  • Support Materials group as the incoming material quality representative.  This includes but is not limited to raw material testing, material reject process (MRR) support, Certificate of Analysis (C of A) management, material reporting and corrective action measures.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Effective communication skills -- oral and written
  • Strong computer skills with an ability to learn new programs
  • Ability to read prints
  • Ability to perform high level abstract reasoning

The Cost Accountant responsible for performing financial analysis in an accurate and timely manner; this position provides proactive/highly accurate information, analysis, and recommendations to the management team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of profitability reports including analysis of individual products, segments, and customer profitability
